[ Injuries ] Open Question : Can you break your hand by being hit with a pool ball?

I was at a party and i was playing darts while other people were playing pool and one flew off the table and hit my hand hard and now it really hurts. it left a bruise and a bump and i'm not sure if it's broken.

my cat dodo dissapered she is a out door cat and i went to see my aunt for a week and usually dodo is waiting outside by the door when i get back but she wasnt there this time!!!! and its been 2 days and no sign of dodo!!! and im worried because she is a very intelligent cat she is 8 years old and she knows my neighborhood very well and she knows how to get home.....help!!! any advice???
