I bought something online like a month and a half ago using a prepaid card (international shipment, can't be recharged and is now empty). From past experiences, it takes 2 weeks for the package to arrive. When the package didn't arrive after 3 weeks I have decided to contact the customer support and they told me it may take up to a month, so I waited. After one month I thought this was a lost package, I asked for a refund - and got it, and then made a purchase somewhere else. Now, it's been half a month since I got the refund, I was certain the new package was in the mail, so I told my mom to go there and pick it up, she paid customs and signed the papers, but when she got home I felt like an idiot.. I didn't even suspect it could be the first package. I seriously don't know what to do, to ship it back to the states + the paid customs would rip my pocket, it's like 40$ which is half of the value of the package! absurd. Paying to the company means I will have to make another prepaid card and call to the states, but I can't call to the states.. it's one dollar a minute! a 10 minute call is way too pricey for this kind of thing. Do I have to end up paying EXTRA? do any of you guys got other solutions to this situation?
